Cornell University Library - Maps & Geospatial Collection - Nigeria - Ibo Region The maps below are a sampling of those available from the Cornell Maps and Geographic Information Collection (M&GIC) and now available for viewing in the display cases on the lower level of Olin. The display includes maps and related texts illustrating the geography of the Ibo experience as described in Chinua Achebe's novel. There are four panels, Early Exploration, Missionary Activity, British Conquest and Administration and contemporary maps showing cultural groupings in modern Nigeria.
