Uris Library

The Cornell University Library, the Tompkins County Public Library, and a host of public and high school libraries from communities across New York State are pleased to support the 2007 New Student Reading Project and all of its readers.

Libraries are all about Books and Reading

Here are a few of our "reading" materials:

  • Library Limbo (YouTube)
A 2006 summer student project made at Cornell University in Lynn Tomlinson's Film Animation Workshop (Film 324). It portrays student study habits and use of Cornell's historic Uris Library through 1920's style animation.

Libraries are also all about Information

They provide access to print and digital resources, services, and knowledgeable staff.

If you have any questions about the New Student Reading Project, Nadine Gordimer, or The Pickup, or other related topics, let us know.
